You forget that free to play games development are funded by whales that are mostly victims of predatory systems built into those games. Aside from that, paid games made people work to get the money for their own entertainment. In that sense they are better for society, unlike free to play games that can be played by bums that do nothing but play all day.

I was surprised when I realized, that your video is 10 years old now. To this day I have been playing games for 30+ years. So at the moment when your video came out I was already playing games for 20+ years. It's my main hobby, I invest money in buying new games, I watch tons of videos and read a lot of articles. I love modern games as much as retrogames, up to the era before I was even born. So ... a little kid, who's been playing games for 10 years now, can't tell me, that I'm not a gamer. I don't even care what they think. Imo everyone is a gamer who loves games.
